Procurement Intern- Summer 2018

What you will be doing: 

You will participate in various projects to support the internal indirect procurement initiatives with a heavy focus on analytical skills, Excel and economic acumen. Some projects will require data analysis, formulation of recommendations. The indirect team sources goods and services based on internal business needs. You may have cost savings projects, sourcing of goods or services or implementing internal process improvements.

Developmental Opportunities:

Exposure to many aspects of Supply Chain management and collaboration with key business areas of quality, engineering, finance, and operations.

• Are you both analytical and able to build relationships with a broad range of people?
• Do you enjoy team work and and an open/collaborative work environment?
• Does working with Excel and presenting your findings make you excited?
• Do you find yourself naturally taking the lead?

Qualifications: 

• Preferred Major: Econ, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
• Preferred Status: Sophomore, Junior or Senior level
• Preferred GPA above a 3.0
• Prior internship experience preferred

This is a summer-only internship from May 2018- August 2018
