Description
We are seeking a Mid Level Java Software Engineer who knows their stuff. This person is expected to interface extensively with the rest of the team, but also be able to carry out a project or task independently with little supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and object-oriented design background and will help create and maintain web-based e-commerce applications. We are looking for individuals who want to work in a small team where their input is invaluable.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4+ years experience in Java software design and development.
- Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable systems a plus but not required
- Experience with Accounting principals a plus but not required
- Experience with SAML and Web Services a plus
- Experience in the Healthcare and Insurance Industry a plus but not essential
- Strong object-oriented design, software reusability, testing, and debugging skills required.
- Experience with Java, JEE, and JDBC
- Experience with any RDBMS accepted
- Solid skills in JSP, HTML, and JavaScript (AJAX) for creating interactive web applications required; knowledge of other web services and distributed technologies.
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Knowledge of both the Microsoft Windows and Linux environments a plus
- Experience working with Git and Maven.
- Attention to details and quality.
- Ability to work with ease under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
