Lift Technician Apprentice
Lift Technician Apprentice Level I Assists Lift Technicians in daily activities, demonstrates, but not limited to the following skills and guidelines with documentation. Lift Technician must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. General knowledge: - Knowledge of both winter and summer travel routes, trails and roads - Location, name and type of lifts - Mechanical and electrical aptitude - Must be at least a competent skier or snowboarder - Basic knowledge of lift components Job Duties: - Run/operate fixed grip, detachable ski lifts, rope tows and conveyors - Cleaning lift components - Operate power and hand tools - Assist in repairs and component exchanges - Completing all required maintenance logs and records Safety knowledge: - ATV, UTV, and truck operator qualifications - Lock out/ tag out procedures - Work chair protocol - Radio protocol - All company safety procedures - Can recognize and identify safe and unsafe operating conditions for ski lifts - MSDS training - Confined space training - Qualified climber - Hazardous material handling procedures - Hazardous waste disposal - Spill prevention control and countermeasures - Battery handling and safety |
