Marketing Coordinator
PublicRelay is the premier media monitoring and analytics solution for communications professionals at the world’s leading Fortune 500 companies, associations, and government agencies. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting new marketing initiatives, managing a comprehensive direct marketing/sales database, and assisting the sales team on an ongoing basis. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized individual with an interest in marketing and sales. Top candidates will be resourceful, hardworking, and highly curious.
The position can support flexible work hours (flex time) and can also accommodate working in the office or working from home certain days of the week (a minimal amount of time in the office is required each week), depending on the skills and reliability of the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database and oversee data quality
Manage a team of research assistants
Support the executive sales team with day-to-day outreach coordination
Coordinate outbound direct mail campaigns and analyze response rates
Assist with the design and execution of e-mail marketing campaigns
Help oversee company social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Required Skills:
Consistent, proven attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Accountability and timeliness on all projects
Ability to maintain high standards of quality
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills
Self-starter mentality that works well without supervision
Ability to learn new programs, processes, and terminology quickly
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experiences:
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with direct mail and email marketing processes and programs
Experience with managing social media accounts for companies or organizations
Experience with data analysis
Education/Experience Required:
BA/BS degree or 2-4 years’ experience in a similar position
