HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER/HEALTHWEST
The Human Resources Manager/HealthWest serves as a key representative to address policy, practice and advisement to the HealthWest Executive Team and staff on HealthWest's personnel matters. The Human Resources Manager/HealthWest ensures the implementation of personnel policies established by the HealthWest Board of Directors and the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners. The Human Resources Manager/HealthWest assists the Muskegon County Human Resources department in providing support to HealthWest departments for class spec and job description development, job postings and recruitment, hiring, retention, performance evaluation and improvement plans, discipline and termination. The Human Resources Manager/HealthWest leverages a high level of integrity, transparency, and trust to represent the needs of both the employees and the interests of HealthWest in achieving efforts that meet the organizational mission, vision and values. The Human Resources Manager/HealthWest is responsible for awareness and compliance with Federal and State laws impacting the organization, personnel and reporting requirements in a healthcare environment.
2. Two years of experience as a Human Resources Professional or higher in a managed care, public health, behavioral health, primary or specialty care, or related organization.
3. Experience in a Community Mental Health Services Program preferred.
4. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
5. Individuals in recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
