2017 General Motors China Finance Analyst Summer Intern

Corporate Finance Analysts are expected to help solve challenging and mission critical issues facing the company and/or their business units.


Finance Summer Internship

GM China & GMI Finance 2017 Internship offers challenging assignments in groups such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, Treasury, Manufacturing Finance and Audit. These projects range from performing China auto industry price trend analysis to conducting manufacturing cost benchmarking analysis to improve plant productivity. All assignments require high level of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity, and initiative, in particular:

•       70% Experienced Based

o Coaches
o Opportunity to present to senior managers and directors

All assignments will be at GM China HQ in Shanghai, China. Internship will last for approximately 8 weeks, from July 1st to August 31st, 2017.

High performance interns will receive a full-time offer to join GM’s fast-track rotational program called TRACK.

General qualification:

•       Finance, economics, accounting, engineering or equivalent background preferred, with coursework in finance, accounting and/or business
•       Students to graduate in December 2017 or Summer 2018
•       Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
•       Strong analytical and problem solving skills and organizational abilities
•       Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
•       Self-confidence and motivation to strive for excellence
•       Drive for results
