Public Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to join the Public Relations team at our corporate office located in NYC. This position will handle all basic public relations administrative operations and maintains departmental records.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for the PR team
  • Post press mentions onto Corcoran.com and maintain the Corcoran.com press page
  • Liaise with The New York Times legal team for copyright permissions
  • Compile and circulate daily company-wide news digest with press hits and industry news
  • Assist with background research and participate in creative brainstorming sessions
  • Submit content for weekly press opportunities
  • Create and maintain monthly clipbook
  • Maintain department subscriptions and process all invoices
  • Field questions from Agents about basic PR protocol and procedure
  • Submit properties to blogs and online photo galleries
  • Assist team in providing supplementary data and photographs for news articles
  • Maintain contacts for the department
  • Write press releases as requested
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; may consider candidates without a degree given applicable work experience
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Professional demeanor and ability to defuse difficult situations in a calm manner
