Recruiter Associate

  • This position exists to work closely with Provider Recruiters and Coordinator regarding recruitment efforts; 
    • provides an additional resource to develop partnerships to address underutilization; 
    • serve as the department contact on HRIS process issues and enhancements; 
    • assists with maintaining and developing dashboards; 
    • provides project management support for department. 
  • Phones screens physicians and advanced provider candidates with a potential interest in the IU Health System. 
  • Performs work of a confidential nature, makes decisions within the scope of authority and assumes responsibility with minimal supervision. 
  • Assists in marketing the organization to external organizations and individuals in efforts to recruit qualified applicants.
  • Identifies potential candidates through social media, purchased databases; direct-mail; e-mail blasts; LinkedIn; 
    • Physician Job Boards; medical journals-on-line and in print and other creative sources. 
    • Contacts potential candidates by e-mail and phone and presents information about available job opportunities. 
    • Collects pertinent information about interested candidates and makes referrals to Physician & AP Recruiters. 
    • Tracks the results of sourcing activities. 
  • Assists in preparing direct-mailings; association web-sites- specialty specific and sends information to interested candidates. 
  • Performs phone screens with AP Applicants. 
  • Able to access resumes and determine gaps. 
  • Able to probe and ask insightful questions during phone screen. 
  • Provide passive and active candidate pipeline support.
  • Ensure potential physician/AP candidates have accurate, timely information regarding the open positions, the Customer and the communities where opportunities exists. 
  • In partnership with the Recruitment Professionals, Provides direct staff support to the Customer for their physician recruitment needs as requested. 
    • Communicates with the Customer on a regular basis regarding status of searches and the Customer's recruiting needs.
  • Represents the organization at Job Fairs. 
  • Develops relationships with public and private agencies to enhance the quality and quantity of potential hires. 
  • Collaborates with the Customer's designated recruiting liaison and the organization Human Resources regarding the Customer's personnel policies, procedures, and department standards. 
  • Communicates on a regular basis with the Customer's recruiting liaison and the organization Human Resources department as appropriate.
