Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Colorado, a residential treatment facility for adolescents, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic nurse interested in innovation and taking initiative to contribute to programs. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering prescribed medical treatments to clients in accordance with established nursing standards of practice under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Some Responsibilities may include:

  • Develops treatment plan goals and interventions.

  • Administration of medical treatments, immunizations, and pain management.

  • Promotes wellness practices through teaching and wellness activities with clients.

  • Consistently demonstrates skills in therapeutic communication, promoting behavioral change, teaching and reinforcing client skill development.

  • Assures the accurate and timely completion of all documentation of patient care processes that relate to regulatory and procedural compliance. eCet documentation

Looking for a candidate who is comfortable with working various shifts, which could include day shifts, evening shifts, some potential overnight shifts, and some weekend shifts. LICENSED NEW GRADS WELCOME!

To qualify, we require:  

  • Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing and completion of accredited RN program. Clear Colorado RN license.

  • At least one year experience in Nursing field is highly preferred.

  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills.

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
