Devereux Colorado is a residential treatment facility in Westminster, CO and we are seeking a Medication Technician to work with adolescents and children.

Some responsibilities for this position include:

  • Accurately preparing and administering medications.
  • Teaching clients about medications and medication management.
  • Accurately monitors and documents medication administration, monitors medication effects and adverse reactions according to facility protocol and reports concerns to the RN on duty.
  • Knowledgeable of psychoactive medications and promptly recognizes adverse reactions and implements appropriate intervention measures.

Requirements:
  • Must have current qualified medication administration (QMAP) certification from Colorado, or ability to quickly obtain this certification
  • Prefer two years experience with medication management.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
