Community Service Officer

The Estes Park Police Department wants energetic people for the summer position of Community Service Officer (CSO). If you are personable and like to work with people in a wide range of situations, if you want to be an ambassador for the Town of Estes Park and you want to work in one of the most scenic towns in America, then apply with the Estes Park Police Department.

 Being a CSO requires the ability to perform foot patrol in downtown Estes Park. The responsibilities of a CSO include public relations, customer service, traffic direction, parking enforcement, lost & found property management and assisting the Patrol, Dispatch and Records Divisions. The CSO position can be used as a paid college internship or simply summer employment. Our video is available at www.estes.org/eppdcareer

 A CSO must be willing to work full time day shifts on all weekends & holidays. They must demonstrate proficiency with written and verbal communications and have good interpersonal skills. A candidate must be at least 18 years of age and successfully complete an interview and a background investigation. The starting salary is $13.00/hour. The employment period begins May 17 and ends mid-August (we work with your school schedule). Additionally, if you live in Colorado and you want to continue working weekends mid-August through September then that is an option for you.
