Job Description:

The M&A Transactions Data Analyst will provide value-add research and analysis to the advisory business.  In this role, the Analyst will help to build a new database of M&A deal related data. In addition, the Analyst will create content and analyze data to be used to help advise transaction teams and clients on issues regarding investor reaction and transition around deals, as well as any contemplated strategic transaction by a company.

The role will combine data analysis with financial analysis and is part of a unique and growing group within Evercore’s advisory business. The Analyst in this position will gain exposure to a variety of M&A situations, other strategic corporate actions, and investor and trading perspectives around deals.

·         have some experience with data or statistical analysis or other quantitative skillset

·         Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel

·         exhibit an exceptional attention to detail  

·         be calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·         interested in finance and M&A markets
