Control Engineer

Responsibilities:  Job duties will include design of custom automation control systems for controlling industrial machinery and process equipment in a wide variety of industries.  Close coordination with engineers at client companies is required to determine project requirements.  Work involves selection of control hardware, design of panel layouts, design of control logic and electrical power schematics. Some projects may also require travel for supervision of system start-up.

This entry level position will involve working with experienced engineers at first.  Formal product application and programming training will be provided to round out new employee’s skills.  Successful candidates will quickly be expected to take on independent projects.

Qualifications:  Design work will be documented using AutoCAD.  Knowledge of, or experience with, Variable Frequency Drive Systems and/or motor controls is a plus.  Related co-op or work experience is desired.  BSEE, BSME, or BSCE preferred.
