FC-FLIP Connects regional college students and recent graduates with resource managers to gain hands-on understanding of what it means to work with federal agencies. Interns can participate in a variety of different management programs, be it natural, recreation, or cultural resource management. FC-FLIP aims to help you become the best of the new generation of resource managers, agency personnel, and land stewards. Being a part of this program means gaining a competitive edge, discovering new avenues of expertise and of course, having a blast!

This rigorous paid 11-week career-building internship program offers an outstanding opportunity to learn from professionals in the field, develop skills, and gain networking contacts- all while living in a place brimming with natural beauty. Each student will be paired with a natural resource scientist or manager for a 10-week internship and participate in a one week orientation. At orientation interns will receive outdoor leadership training and build network relationships that they will use for the rest of their lives. During their 10 weeks in the field, students learn the methods used by natural resource professionals and community planners.

This is so much more than a summer internship, this is the launch to your environmental career.
