Senior Software Engineer in Test

Description 

As Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work to enhance automated test coverage for web applications. You will also help design and implement test automation for iOS and Android applications. As the Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for  training Test Engineers on cutting edge automation execution and troubleshooting techniques.


Technology We Use:

  • C#, Telerik, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, Bootstrap, Sencha, jQuery, Est.js, other JS libraries/frameworks, Oracle, Elastic


Your Role:

  • Plan and implement automated test coverage for web and mobile applications

  • Report errors to internal engineers and facilitate corrective efforts

  • Proactively research and develop tools to improve quality of applications and the development process as a whole

  • Analyze and decompose complex software applications and design a strategy to implement an efficient testing environment

  • Collaborate with software development and QA teams to ensure the timely delivery of industry leading software solutions

  • Accelerate product development while improving the overall quality for clients

  • Act as mentor for Test Engineers and train them on best practices in test automation

Qualifications
 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in object oriented programming: Java, C++, Objective-C, C#, or similar

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with test automation framework

  • Minimum of 4 years web application test experience


What We Look For:

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS locators and XPath

  • Strong familiarity with testing types: black box, white box, functional, smoke, regression, etc

  • Familiar with mobile application development concepts: hybrid vs native

  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, PL-SQL, Visual Studio a plus

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements

  • High energy, confident, ambitious and self-motivated individual.

  • Must be an effective communicator.

  • BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
