Quality Engineer

 

JAC Products, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of original equipment roof racks and other auto body trim, supplying vehicles worldwide.  JAC is the acknowledged leader in automotive exterior functional components, industrial and structural extrusions and assemblies, and a broad range of standard and custom extrusions.  

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Saline, Michigan.  This position will lead by example with data and standardized work related to quality functions, such as: ISO/TS 16949, APQP documents, SPC, Problem Solving, etc. for continuous improvement and to assure product conformity. 

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline along with a minimum two years relevant experience in a manufacturing (automotive preferred), Six Sigma Black .  Additionally, this candidate should have the following: excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
