Summer Intern - Service Engineering

Job Functions:
  1. Organize select Service modifications and work with distributors and customers to complete them.
  2. Call distributors/customers weekly to determine progress made toward completion.
  3. Ensure that completed modifications are properly documented in the BP.
  4. Assist Service Engineer in providing bi-monthly updates on completion progress of the modifications.
  5. Assist Service team with other duties as needed.
  6. Keep management informed on current workload, issues and future assignments
  7. Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
  8. Adhere to company and professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the observation of confidentiality
  9. Maintain professional relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internal and external
  10. Represent the company professionally in all interactions both internally and externally
  11. Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Global Code Of Conduct.
  12. Perform special projects as required.
*Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Other):
  1. Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering and having completed a minimum of one year of college.
  2. An outstanding academic performer 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or equivalent academic requirement. Lower GPA considered if coupled with relevant experience.
  3. Good oral and written communication skills.
  4. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
  5. Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills
  6. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
 
Preferred:
 
  1. Good phone skills
  2. Strong follow-up skills to maintain progress with mod completion.
