Summer Intern - Business Development & Engineering

Functions (Essential)
1. Update/create
presentation and data on current MTU customer base for sharing with customers
and distributor partners
2. Complete C&I
customer database project, expanding outdated list of approximately 180 OEM’s to
over 500 with full product detail
3. Creation of sales
promotion tools (ex. Competitive Distributor Overlay Maps, Customer Dealer
Maps, Tier 4F Units Delivery Tracking Tool) as opportunity
identified.
4. Keep management
informed on current workload, issues and future assignments
5. Adhere to company
work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff
behavior
6. Adhere to company and
professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the
observation of confidentiality
7. Maintain professional
relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internal and
external
8. Represent the company
professionally in all interactions both internally and
externally
9. Promote a compliance
culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the
Global Code Of Conduct.
10. Perform special
projects as required.
1. Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing or Mechanical Engineering and having completed a minimum of one year of college.
2. An outstanding academic performer 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or equivalent academic requirement. Lower GPA considered if coupled with relevant experience.
3. Good oral and written communication skills.
4. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
5. Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills
6. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
