Insurance Customer Service Representative
Seeking experienced customer service representative for our Personal Lines department:
Essential Functions:
- Actively supports and incorporates company mission and core values into daily activities
- Interact professionally and effectively with other employees & customers
- Achieve sales, account development and client retention targets as set out my department management
- Consistently demonstrates professionalism and exceptional customer service skills both internally and externally
- Maintains a positive and respectful demeanor
- Works as a team member to achieve department goals and overall company objectives
- Maintains confidentiality of all information related to clients, employees and carriers
- Reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position at a consistently high level
- Provides customers with helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic "concern for their needs" service to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees
- Must be pleasant on the phone and able to interact with end-users in a professional manner
Other Functions:
- Data entry of application information in multiple carrier systems and Agency Management System
- Obtains complete underwriting information from prospects
- Services an existing book of business, including new and renewal marketing and placement
- Conducts regular account reviews to improve client retention and cross sell initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Experience on Agency Management Systems, and Comparative Rating software
- The ability to listen to the caller to obtain the correct information of where to direct the call
- Advanced computer and typing skills

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 Years Personal Lines Customer Service Representative Experience
- Michigan P & C Insurance License Preferred
