Mission

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for the development of strategic partnerships with all customers in the territory and in turn, creating profitable growth for Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly.

Job description

Reporting to the North East Zone Manager- General Industry, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Real-time assessment of our business position in the territory (i.e., SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)

  • Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity plan

  • Execution of all sales processes and strategies

  • Development of complete customer satisfaction in all accounts

  • Development of positive relationships in all accounts

  • Development of the distribution network and sales force; maintaining positive momentum toward mutually beneficial goals in the territory

  • Formal introduction of all new products to customers and distribution, with customer specific value focus

  • Accurate territory forecasting

  • Driving product development

  • Development of new accounts

  • Maintenance of existing accounts

Territory

The territory for this position is the state of Michigan, you must live in the territory and moderate travel is involved. 

Experience requirements

Sales or marketing experience preferred, however not mandatory

Knowledge

Must have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude

Educational requirements

University Degree required.  Business or Engineering preferred
