Human Resources Co-op

Job Summary

We are seeking an individual for the position of Human Resources Co-op. The Human Resources Co-op will be provided opportunities in various Human Resource disciplines at Vollrath over the course of their schedule.

Projects and Responsibilties

The Co-op experience at Vollrath offers a variety of hands-on experiences meant to provide the candidate with broad based exposure in various areas. The role will be more project based with work related to:

Recruiting and Selection

  • Database creation and maintenance of Behavioral Descriptive Interviewing questions to ensure consistency and also provide a great candidate experience

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Assist with the administration of an all-company roll out of newly defined cultural values

Benefits

  • Research and recommend non-traditional offerings that will help in recruiting and retaining talent

Compensation

  • Assist with salary surveys so that Vollrath has accurate salary data

Administrative Support

  • Assist with revisions to the employee handbook
  • Assist with scheduling trainings and creation of presentations

Qualifications & Skill

  • Business major at a 4 year university preferred (HR emphasis a plus)
  • Must be open to taking on new tasks and ideas
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
