Job Summary
We are seeking an individual for the position of Human Resources Co-op. The Human Resources Co-op will be provided opportunities in various Human Resource disciplines at Vollrath over the course of their schedule.
Projects and Responsibilties
The Co-op experience at Vollrath offers a variety of hands-on experiences meant to provide the candidate with broad based exposure in various areas. The role will be more project based with work related to:
Recruiting and Selection
- Database creation and maintenance of Behavioral Descriptive Interviewing questions to ensure consistency and also provide a great candidate experience
Organizational Effectiveness
- Assist with the administration of an all-company roll out of newly defined cultural values
Benefits
- Research and recommend non-traditional offerings that will help in recruiting and retaining talent
Compensation
- Assist with salary surveys so that Vollrath has accurate salary data
Administrative Support
- Assist with revisions to the employee handbook
- Assist with scheduling trainings and creation of presentations
Qualifications & Skill
- Business major at a 4 year university preferred (HR emphasis a plus)
- Must be open to taking on new tasks and ideas
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong data analysis skills.
