Meet criteria for the role as stated in the current GSRP Implementation Manual, including
team teaching.
Participates in annual Program Quality Assessment (PQA) observation, feedback and
goal setting session, and shows progress related to annual classroom PQA goals over the
course of a program year. If the End of Year PQA score is at or below 3.25, commit to
participating in Oakland Schools support to attain a score above 3.25 by the following End
of Year PQA observation.
Demonstrate growth in competency areas as outlined in the current "Michigan Core
Knowledge and Core Competencies for the Early Care and Education Workforce"
document.
Meet qualifications and responsibilities for the role as stated in the current "Licensing
Rules for Child Care Centers" published by the State of Michigan.
Comply with all current Board Policies and Staff Handbooks published by WLCSD.
Attend professional development as required by the program.
Actively participate in meetings as scheduled and required by the program.
Implement the High Scope curriculum with fidelity as measured by Program Quality
Assessment (PQA) items and child growth in Child Observation Record Advantage (COR
Advantage).
Plan and implement lessons for all parts of the daily routine based on a team teaching
model.
Establish and maintain positive relationships and communication with program members
including children, staff, families, and the external community.
Keep accurate records, including assessment, portfolios, inventory, and others as dictated by grant.
Meet deadlines for all funding streams.
Maintain confidentiality.
Order supplies and items needed for the classroom.
Organize and carry out all necessary calls, paperwork, permissions and procedures for
field trips.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
Performs other duties as assigned.
