The Shade Store is growing and opportunities abound! We’re currently accepting resumes for entry level candidates to join our world-class West Coast team at our new office in Santa Monica, CA. Ideal candidates will have experience in Sales/Customer Service and ideally a working knowledge of interior design – trends, magazines, luxury home brands, etc. This position is based out of our Santa Monica, CA Headquarters office. 

THE POSITION: Customer Operations Assistant

What does a Customer Operations Assistant do? They assist our customers with their measure and install appointment scheduling ensuring an excellent customer experience, one window at a time. 

  • Schedule our California-based fleet of Measure & Install professionals for appointments with existing and prospective customers of The Shade Store
  • Take inbound calls & emails from customers
  • Make outbound calls & emails to all customers who have expressed interest in your territory
  • When scheduling, create the most efficient routes possible each day and distribute daily schedules to our M&I Pros
  • Provide customers with real time appointment status updates / schedule changes
  • Handle all customer conversations with the highest level of courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the situation
