Marketing Researcher Internship @ Akzo Nobel

Marketing Sales Support long term contract opportunity with a Chemical Manufacturing client in the Troy, MI area. This position will providing support in development and implementation of sales, marketing and communication programs and tools that help achieve the organization’s marketing objectives and corporate goals for their liquid product brands.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development and production of Sales support tools (Sell Sheets, Brochures, POS, Technical Documents, Presentations)
  
  
• Support Tradeshow and industry events through interfacing with properties and support vendors, support team correspondence, pre-show Meeting logistics, shipping and packing, material collection, etc.
  
  
• Support the maintenance of the clients sales support webshop, regional Tradeshow support website, promotional webshop, internal asset warehouse sites (Partner Portal & Showpad), and outside vendor relationships
  
  
• Other duties as required
  

Requirements

• An educational background in Marketing, Marketing Communications
  
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and editing and proofreading skills
  
  
• Journalistic ability to source stories from the business in support of social media and eBulletin process
  
  
• Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication
  
  
• A self-starter, detail-oriented, possessing excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills
  
  
• Required computer skills include; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
