Client Executive

We seek an experienced Client Executive to join our team. The Client Executive manages a book of business and provides superior client service to sophisticated accounts. This position ensures the retention of current accounts by effectively managing the renewal process, developing client relationships, and resolving client issues in a timely manner while collaborating with the servicing team. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

·         Manage day-to-day account responsibilities including, but not limited to, resolving client problems, responding to client questions, monitoring insurance programs for possible changes, and promptly coordinating the delivery of risk management services.

·         Execute the renewal process for all accounts on the assigned book of business.

·         Determine risk management and client coverage needs to develop effective insurance programs for all assigned accounts.

·         Oversee and facilitate account management duties such as completing applications, billing, resolving collection problems, corresponding with carriers, providing customer status reports, following up on audits, attending sales meetings, reviewing production reports, and supporting internal staff department requests for information.

·         Generate new prospects by cross-selling, following up on leads, and expanding existing networks and business relationships. (No cold-calling.)

·         Develop and present proposals to close new accounts and renew existing accounts.

·         Maintain/strengthen relationships with prospect and client decision makers, insurance buyers, and company contacts.

·         Provide coaching, direction and day-to-day supervision to account support staff

Requirements

·         7-10 years of experience in a client executive, account executive, vice president or analogous role in a retail insurance brokerage.

·         Experience using an agency management software preferred. Applied TAM a plus.

·         Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel. Proficient Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.)

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Active Property/Casualty Illinois Producer License

·         Bachelor's degree highly preferred
