Safety Intern

PCI Pharma Services (PCI), the industry leader in contract pharmaceutical packaging has an immediate need for a Safety Intern for its Rockford, IL location. The Safety Intern will assist in carrying out various Safety responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Develop a program to encourage a safety culture within PCI.
• Research to ensure we have the most updated Safety information
• Obtain data needed to put into the Supervisor Safety Manual
• Assist with creating topics for the Supervisor Safety Manual
• Assist the Safety Administrator in reviewing JSA's as they get turned in and making sure all have the same format
• Review on the job activities if necessary to understand the hazard
• Work with department Supervisor/Manager if additional information is needed
• Create binders for each department by title
