Scope of responsibilities:  

The Software Developer is responsible for developing solutions that drive innovation and competitive advantage.  The role encompasses writing code to build and support NHK’s systems, applications and platforms as well as configuring, optimizing, and deploying custom software components and applications. 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Execute full lifecycle software development
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Develop and implement new software programs
  • Maintain, test and improve software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Analyze user requirements
  • Write documentation of new or existing programs to ensure effective communication.
  • Interact with team members to ensure that designs and quality are meeting NHK requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills: 

  • 2 + years experience in Software development life cycle, solid internships and projects do count.

  • Experience with web developments including: ASP.NET, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS.

  • Experience with programming languages including: C# and Java

  • Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) applications using Spring MVC or similar frameworks.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT related discipline or graduating in April 2017.
