Software Engineer I

Summary

Are you passionate about building products for the sports world? Do you understand the importance of OBP, GAA, and FGM? We help media companies surface sports content to fans like you. This isn't the product catalog from your favorite online boutique - we are talking petabytes of data collected directly from the performances of your favorite athletes, presented in creative, exciting, and useful ways. STATS is building the next-generation data platform and suite of applications and services, and we need you to help get us there.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs
  • Implement proofs of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software
  • Create unit and acceptance tests, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team
  • Implement robust, scalable, secure, and globalized features

Education & Experience

  • Java and/or other Object Oriented Programming Languages
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript
  • AWS
  • Redis
  • Apache Spark & Storm
  • Agile development.
  • Continuous integration and unit testing
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of software development experience on world-class teams.
