Software Developer
Copper Range is a small but growing software-as-a-service company with patented technology. We are looking for a technical person who is part software developer, database administrator, systems analyst, and product support specialist who enjoys interfacing with customers. We desire a creative, curious person with solid technical experience and communications skills who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial streak.
The primary responsibility of this person will be to help develop and maintain Copper Range's current products and systems, and secondarily to provide technical support for the sales team.
The ideal candidate must have working experience in developing end-to-end Web-based applications, and using and administering Linux-based systems. Proficiency in the following technologies are essential for the position:
- Relational database design and administration
- Dynamic HTML/Rich Internet Applications, particularly using jQuery and CSS
- Javascript
- XML and JSON
- Python
- Linux
- Apache and Tomcat
- Java
In addition, experience using the Django Web development framework is a major plus, as is experience developing for mobile devices and embedded systems particularly using the Cordova mobile app development system.
