Job Purpose:
Identify and serves members and guests by providing high level service and information information regarding food and beverage selections; presenting ordered choices; maintaining clubhouse ambiance.

Duties:
* Prepares room for service by setting bar, setting decorations, condiments, wine service, candles, napkins, service plates, buffet and/or other service settings and utensils as needed. 

* Protects establishment and members by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

* Accommodates and identifies members and guests: takes orders and serves selections of food and beverages by; presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions; diligently attending to member and guest needs regarding service. Provides beverage production service for wait staff pick up.

* Reconciles wait staff drink orders. Transmits food orders from bar patrons to kitchen via POS system; identifying guests special dietary needs and special requests.

* Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. Keeps service staff informed of wines, cocktails and other specialty beverage selection. 

* Serves orders by making guests choices from beverage selections from Bar Beverages, Cocktail and/or Wine List etc. for service wait staff. Delivering orders from kitchen for bar guests with accompaniments and condiments. 

* Responds to additional member and guest requirements by; observing and anticipating dining process or inquiring of needs.

* Maintains bar setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water wine glasses; offers cocktails; being alert to member and guest other special needs.

* Concludes bar and dining experience by acknowledging and confirming members identification by name; confirming settlement options if multiple members or guest present, inviting members and guests to return, and promoting upcoming events.

* Assists with training of serving staff imparting education and knowledge of bar, products, wine selection and other libations. 

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
