Customer Relations Intern

Customer Relations Internship Description 

Training Objectives:

·         To understand the general business of Two’s Company and the giftware, home décor industry.

·         Learn the basic operations of a Customer Relations department.

·         Understand the impact the Customer Relations department has on customer retention and the overall success of the company.

 

Program Time Frame:

·         Year-round opportunities are available.

·         A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is preferred (Mon-Fri).

 

Training Curriculum:

·         Mission and objectives of a Customer Relations department.

·         Performance standards and how they are measured.

·         Standard Operating Procedures – understanding how these are important to the success of the company.

·         Communicating with our customers through various mediums including phone, email, automated communications, fax, and face-to-face.

·         Website – learn how this valuable resource impacts customers and the daily work flow.

·         Learn how to collaborate with other departments to accomplish results.

·         Quality Assurance Process – Understand how customer feedback is communicated among departments to facilitate improvements to product quality and packaging.

 

Supervision:

·         Closely supervised and trained by a variety of Customer Relations department staff members.

·         Weekly meetings with Customer Relations Manager to share feedback, progress and further training needs.

 

Qualifications:

·         Basic office skills

·         Strong communication skills, verbal and written

·         Good organizational skills

·         Basic knowledge of word, excel and outlook
