Training

The TCS Engineering and Industrial Services Practice has been providing enhanced value to customers across various industry segments for over two decades by enabling them to achieve product excellence, innovation and operational efficiency.

Joining the TCS Engineering Services team offers you an exclusive opportunity to master your Product Engineering and Manufacturing skills by training in advanced facilities at our Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Milford, Ohio and other global locations.

The Initial Learning Program (ILP) is a fully-paid, comprehensive training program that includes a TCS orientation, introduction to Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Life Cycle Management, Case Study Projects, inter-cultural effectiveness workshops, and additional technical training specific to the needs of our client partners.

After completing the training program, Engineers join their onsite teams to work on pre-selected assignments with clients who offer a variety of medium- or large-sized projects. With clients located across the USA and the rest of the globe, TCS can offer great flexibility in work location, excellent career advancement, and a variety of opportunities. Responsibilities

·         Develop new or modify existing product designs using advanced digital tools

·         Application of CAD/CAM/CAE concepts for Product Design

·         Analyze user needs and develop engineering solutions

·         Analyze design configurations for the product and recommend optimum solutions

·         Customize the Engineering applications to automate the process

·         Analyze the manufacturing processes and recommend appropriate Process Plans to optimize operational efficiency

·         Use/Customize Product Lifecycle Management Systems for end-to-end digital product design

·         Create technical specifications and test plans

·         Create appropriate documentation to ensure traceability from concept to retirement of systems and subsystems

Requirements

·         B.S. in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering (CE), Industrial Engineering (IE) or Software Engineering (SE)

·         Interest and willingness to travel and relocate

·         Cumulative or major GPA of 3.0 or higher

·         Knowledge of basic computer science concepts, programming and Information Systems

·         Previous experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks, SolidEdge, NX, Ideas, Catia, Matlab, Ansys is a plus
