Summer Intern

Title:  Summer Student 

Location:                    Fowlerville, MI

Exempt Status:           Non-Exempt

Departments available:

Human Resources:  Assist with projects, administrative assistance (filing, etc), cover receptionist desk, assist with planning training workshops and other events.

Quality Systems: Assist with audits and leading root cause investigations for internal and external issues

Supply Chain: Projects include Profitability analysis, a logistics strategy for 3 plants, rail optimization. *Required – MBA level student*

Sales: Put White Papers together and assist with sales calls

Quality Lab: Support making materials and studying the relationship between oxygen induction time and long term heat aging

Maintenance: Setting up bar coding of spare parts, putting into e-maintenance, organization of spare parts.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures and Certifications):

Enrolled in college or university and have completed at least 1 yr of school.

Preferred applicants be enrolled in majors for the area they would like to work in

Working Conditions: 

Quality Systems, Supply Chain will potentially require frequent visits to the production floor. 

Maintenance and Quality Lab main working areas will be in the plant. 

HR and Sales will be primarily in an office environment
