Location:
This is a remote position. If the intern lives close enough, they can choose to work in our office at: The Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Road Pottstown, PA 19464
Time Commitment:
10-15 Hours per week, May through August.
Position is unpaid.

GreenAllies is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission “to empower and support students to innovate and lead environmental sustainability efforts”. We envision a world where environmentally sustainable practices are commonplace as a result of continued partnerships and shared commitment between communities and their inspired student leaders. Our work centers around two program priorities: Local work centering on The Althouse Arboretum and global work through our GreenAllies Network.
Position:
The Digital Media and Design Intern will use their design skills to create beautiful and easy-to-understand content for the GreenAllies programs.
The Digital Media and Design Intern and work in close collaboration with other GreenAllies interns, the Executive Director, the Development Committee, and the Board of Directors as he/she plays a key role in effectively communicating GreenAllies’ mission and program offerings to our network.

Responsibilities:
- Develop content, including videos and infographics, for GreenAllies websites and social media accounts
- Design flyers, programs, and marketing materials for GreenAllies programs
- Contribute to the website management team, sharing ideas for new content and website organization
- Work closely with the Communications Intern and Assistant Development Coordinator Intern to incorporate digital media content into all aspects of GreenAllies program
- Provide regular, detailed activity reports to the Executive Director, Development Committee, Board of Directors and others
- Basic working knowledge of GreenAllies programs
- A passion for environmental issues and sustainability projects
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience creating infographics, flyers, and other visual content
- Experience filming and editing short videos
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities while achieving results
