Appliance Solutions User Experience Design Intern

Primary Responsibilities

Provide User Experience and Visual design support to the Appliance Solutions UX team and product management, including key product features and experiences across the Appliance Solutions journey. Interns will partner with senior UX design, Visual design and Research professionals to translate product requirements for hardware, software and services into task flows and design mockups/requirements.

 Basic Qualifications

· Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program part-time or full-time · Working toward a degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, New Media

  Design, Visual communication, Product Design or Interaction Design

· Non-confidential portfolio of student/professional work for review

 Preferred Skills

· GPA of 3.0 or higher

· Strong interest in enterprise UX

· Strong presentation and design communication skills

· Effective ideation ability and strong visualization/sketching skills

· Experience with creating design such as wireframes, task flow, interaction

  model, information architecture  
· Proficient in prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq and/or other platforms critical to  

  design effectiveness and execution

· Proficient in latest versions of software for executing deliveries (Photoshop, Illustrator,

  Sketch and Icon design tools etc.,)

· Translate the wireframes into visually rich, engaging and accessible design

· Strong advocate of user centered design

· Adhere to corporate UI guidelines and standards while continuing to enhance design  

  aesthetics

· Create iconography, layouts based on design principles and aesthetic design concepts

· Passionate about solving problems through innovation

· Good interpersonal skills

· Positive attitude, team player
