Flight Controls Software Engineer
Our software team is looking to bring on a Controls Software Engineer.
We are working on developing safe and reliable flight control algorithms for an unconventional UAV.
Your role may involve developing controls and estimation algorithms, physical system modelling, navigation and path planning systems, software development, and field testing.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, or related
Background in control systems and state estimation
Hands-on experience implementing control systems
Strong physical modelling and math fundamentals
Strong software engineering skills
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of aerodynamic forces and flight dynamics
Experience with robotic sensors and embedded systems
Experience with building and flying radio-controlled aircraft
Proficiency in C/C++, Matlab, and Simulink for Code Generation
