Landscape Analysis Intern

About Basta

Project Basta is a non-profit startup founded in July 2016. Our mission is to bridge the gap between employers and first generation college-goers so that we can increase the diversity of the workforce at all levels.

While employers are prioritizing diversity more than ever before, Basta believes there is a missing link between college graduation and the critical first job for many college graduates of color. Basta seeks to address the barriers that exist between college and a first job specifically for first-generation graduates of color through a suite of services designed to support both graduates and their future employers.

About the Landscape Analysis Intern Role

Basta is seeking an undergraduate intern to lead an extensive landscape analysis research project for the organization. As Basta prepares to launch our second pilot program, it is critically important that we continue to expand our knowledge of the landscape in which the organization operates. The Landscape Analysis intern will be responsible for completing internet research, organizing their findings and presenting to the Project Basta team. The intern’s work will play a critical role in driving Project Basta’s ongoing fundraising and external relations efforts. This project would run from mid-late January through early March, with the potential for additional projects throughout and beyond March based on needs and interest.

This is an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate student interested in non-profit development/fundraising or external relations.
