Associate - Strategic Consulting

Scope
An Associate's primary role is delivering value on client projects through solid analytics and problem solving. As a core member of the client project delivery team, an Associate identifies key business issues in his/her area of responsibility and understands the implications of these issues on the project as a whole.
Responsibilities
- • Structure
ill-defined problems across a variety of industries and issues
- • Develop
and apply relevant conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches
- • Create
new tools and methodologies for engagements
- • Develop
recommendations that can be implemented by the client
- • Independently
structure, write and present persuasive end products
- • Create
strong, trusting relationships with client managers and executives
- • Identify
opportunities to provide additional client value and extend client
relationships
- • Participate
in firm development initiatives, e.g., recruiting and intellectual capital
development
Requirements/Qualifications
- Possess
an MBA from a top-tier business school (preferred) or equivalent degree from a
top-tier graduate program
- Have 3+
years of relevant work experience: prior consulting experience with Top Tier
consulting firm or demonstrated internal consulting role with notable firm,
strategic or corporate planning, or brand management
- Relevant
experience in target industry sectors a plus: Energy, Industrial, High
Tech, Healthcare
- Exceptional
problem solving skills and knowledge
- Demonstrated
analytical skills with experience/proficiency with analytical tools
- Strong
communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)

in or willing to relocate to Chicago immediately
