NYC Restaurant Group Seeks Summer Intern for Hamptons Expansion

We are seeking full time, paid summer interns to join us in Southampton as we open a new full service restaurant concept. Over the course of the summer, each intern will receive hands on experience as a server, host, backwaiter, bartender, cook, sommelier, and floor manager. Daily projects may include inventory and purchasing, new recipe development, wine tasting and bottle selection, accounting and payroll, marketing and social media, private event generation and management, and P&L and sales analysis.  

Candidates can expect to make between $800-$1200 per week working 5-6 days a week. Housing is included as are meals before shifts. We have offered an internship program for over five years and routinely hire previous interns for full time managerial positions.

We are a New York City restaurant group that operates three concepts: Amali, Amali Mou, and Sopra. Additionally, we are affiliated with several sister restaurants including Il Cantinori, Periyali, Bar Six, the Bar Room, and Periyali. Our owners Steve Tzolis and Nicola Kotsoni have over 30 years experience in the industry and have opened concepts with culinary legends Charlie Palmer and Thomas Keller. Our commitment to sustainability has been recognized by certifications from Slow Food, R.E.A.L., and Clean Plates New York.
