Teacher - HS Spanish Long Term Substitute

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL POSTING

               

POSITION: Spanish Teacher – Long Term Sub through 3rd party                                             Comstock High School

 SALARY:  $250.00 per day 

AVAILABLE:   Late February – June 14, 2017     

CERTIFICATION:  Valid Secondary Teaching Certification

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Highly Qualified (NCLB) in Spanish.
  • Ability to work with high-school-age students
  • Experience with addressing the needs of students of all ability levels

 RESPONSIBILITIES:                       

  • Teach classes in the Spanish Department
  • Teach the approved curriculum
  • Provide effective Spanish instruction to high school students
  • Conduct classes using Spanish as the primary language
  • Manage classroom as described in "Essential Job Functions"
  • Other duties as assigned by administration
