Software Engineer - IT Business Services

As a Software Engineer in Cloud Technology – IT Business Services, you'll design, build and support solutions serving a global, enterprise sales team on Salesforce.com and other leading cloud and on-premise platforms. You'll work on unique enterprise problems in a large, complex environment managing millions of records and daily transactions. While working on a full-stack of technologies, you'll have an opportunity to make a meaningful impact to our business customers.

What you’ll do

·         Develop business-critical solutions using Salesforce's Apex and Java on the server-side along with Javascript, Angular and Salesforce's Lightning Design System on the client-side

·         Build integrations between our front-end and back-end systems using HTTP, JSON and RESTful design principles

·         Collaborate with business partners, architects, technical leads, and analysts to develop clean, high-quality deliverables

·         Work as part of an Agile-scrum team to consistently deliver business relevant features and own what you deliver

·         Become an expert in our platforms and actively contribute to their improvement

What you need to succeed

·         Currently working toward a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·         Strong fundamentals in an object-oriented language like Java; experience with Salesforce Apex preferred, but not required

·         Familiarity with client-side technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript; experience with Javascript frameworks like Angular, React or Backbone helpful, but not required

·         Background in web services and systems integrations using HTTP and RESTful design principles

·         Understanding of version control systems like Git and build tools like Jenkins and ANT

·         Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues

·         Attention to detail with a proactive mindset and the ability to work as part of a global team in North America, India and Romania

·         Excellent communications skills both written and spoken

·         Intense curiosity and a sincere interest in learning new technologies, platforms, business processes
