Now we need someone to manage Gelato’s operations while we increase the number of production processes, add additional products and substrates & new print and production machines.

The Operations Manager role is a unique opportunity to help drive growth through the optimization of our production of a growing number of print partners. As an operations manager you will spearhead our operational strategy.

It is a critical role as it directly correlates to continually improving the customer and printer experience through improved quality, efficiency and greater availability. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of analytical thinking & interpersonal ability to manage partnerships with the leading companies in the print industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build Partner Relations. Build and maintain strong relationships with all relevant suppliers in the print industry such as print machine vendors, production machine manufacturers, paper suppliers, and print partners in the Gelato Network
• Manage the expansions of supported print and production machines to secure efficiency and quality
• Decide on supported papers to get quality consistency globally
• Manage the development of the production process for existing and new products that is required by the customers
• Identify & attack problem areas in our production process to secure outstanding operations
• Develop & optimize processes and operational systems. Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow
• Analytics. Heavy analysis of print partner metrics to properly ensure high-quality experiences on the Gelato platform
• Product Improvement. Proactively search for new product features which could improve printer and customer experience
• You will need to rapidly learn about our products, our platform, our culture, and our experience in launching in 30 other countries.
• You will drive our efforts to connect with new technology in print production

• Work closely with the Gelato team defining production’s growth goals and the strategy to achieve them. You will execute these growth strategies through data-driven analytics and creative solution development

WHAT YOU´D NEED TO KNOW AND HAVE

• 5+ years of operations/production management experience and/or project management experience
• Strong attention-to-detail, excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a changing landscape with an evolving set of priorities
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
• Quantitative data analysis, deep actionable insights, modeling, and advanced test plan design and analysis experience
• You will bring deep understanding of how to operate production, although not necessarily an understanding of the printing industry.
• High energy and motivational leadership driven by personal influence and example with direct staff, peers, and senior leaders across all company functions
• Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
• Strong academic records with a Master degree
• All candidates should be business-fluent in English
