Electrical Controls Engineer

Our company works closely with customers serving the Automotive, Induction Heating, Bar & Tube and Forging Industries. JOB SKILLS: GENERAL KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE FOLLOWING MANUFACTURING DISCIPLINES:
Note: Company training to advance skills is provided as required
  • Proficient in Computer IT knowledge and skills
  • PLC Programming (using AB RS-LOGIX, and Siemens (a plus+)
  • HMI Development using AB Factory Talk View, and Siemens (a plus+)
  • Robotic Programming Skills a definite (plus+)
  • Electrical Panel Design & Build
  • Knowledgeable in Computer CAD Systems i.e. AutoCAD/SolidWorks
  • Design Skills - Electro-Mechanical Systems, Systems Integration
  • Design Skills - Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
  • Programming with AB RS-Logix, Siemens
  • Capable of commissioning New Equipment Systems (or) Trouble-shooting
  • Knowledgeable on New Products & Technologies coming on the market.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate should possess fundamental knowledge in the areas listed above for desired JOB SKILLS. Daily responsibilities will include working with Engineering and machine building personnel to develop, design and specify electrical-mechanical components and electrical controls. Additionally, candidate will be responsible for developing program logic for automated machine movements, including trouble-shooting components and programming logic for optimizing machine performance. Some overnight travel may be required to perform onsite installations of the equipment at the customer’s plant.
