Gelato delivers printed materials to 40 countries reaching more than 1 billion people. Our vision is to bring Gelato to everyone - to be truly global. We see this ambition materialize in 2016 through our most aggressive expansion plan ever. We aim at adding more than 20 countries, reaching closer to 2 billion people over one single print cloud. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• As our Legal Counsel you will work closely with COO, Head of Procurement and Global Expansion Managers.
• You will provide legal support to the Product Owners related to sales and marketing. This includes managing complicated internal/ external meetings, reviewing and processing contracts, securing that expansion of Gelato to new markets follow local legal and tax requirements
• Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions for Legal Department
• Handle confidential and non-routine information and facilitate communication between appropriate departments
• Manage international corporate governance and entity management matters for Gelato and its entities around the world
• Work with and support our outside counsel in the matters that they handle for us
• Participating in the procurement process supporting our global expansion
• Conserve team’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.

WHAT YOU´D NEED TO KNOW AND HAVE

• 5+ years experience at mid to large size law firm or as Corporate Counsel. International experience is required.
• Strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school
• You take action but understand the importance of being in sync with the team
• Be a good communicator. Outstanding writing and advocacy skills. You know how to communicate clearly in writing, and in speech
• All candidates should be business-fluent in English; the most competitive candidates will have at least one additional language
• Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment enjoying to deliver on deadlines
• Superior organizational skills and great follow through on tasks
• Be a problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in learning by helping

• An interest in and passion for Gelato.
• This is full time position based in Oslo or Stockholm; Norwegian language is not a prerequisite
