Retail Sales Specialist - Sales Trainer - Brand Ambassador - Columbus OH

We are growing fast and looking for the future account managers of our company. In this role you will be the face of our company and brands, helping to sell to our retail partners including furniture and department stores, specialty stores, and mass merchants. You will educate and train their sales associates on the features, benefits and value of our brands and products. You will visit 4-6 existing customers a day and build relationships while acting as a consultant to our retail partners and our internal sales team. Your responsibility is to grow our share of the business at each of your assigned retail locations. We have the team and the training to help make you successful plus a mentoring program to get you to the next level.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Interact with various levels of management to understand training needs of our dealers
Present and communicate dealer-tailored training programs
Educate the retail floor sales staff on the advantages and benefits of our products
Educate the retail principles on the profit implications of selling our products
Coordinate deliveries and returns with retailer's warehouse in a timely fashion
Ensure our products and marketing message are positively represented

Maintain the highest quality merchandising and display standards
Observe competition impact and strategy deployment in the market and communicate to the team
Handle customer complaint issues
Track and manage calls and store visits
Manage territory and achieve targeted call frequency
Manage roll out of new products and effectively communicate marketing message

Increase market share within accounts through better selling

Secure increased floor space, provide superior customer service and impactful retail sales training
