INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST 

Consider this special opportunity to join a high performing team of experienced consultants serving the occupational and environmental health and product safety needs of pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology companies across the country and internationally. You will fill a key position in providing exposure assessment and industrial hygiene guidance and leadership to clients involved in the safe manufacture of potent new chemical entities and other toxic materials. The ideal candidate is a technically knowledgeable, self-motivated professional with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build client trust and rapport.  Key responsibilities will include: 

·         Directing and performing field studies, data gathering and sampling activities at sites including airborne chemical monitoring

·         Conducting qualitative exposure assessments at Client sites

·         Serving as project manager interfacing directly with clients to understand client needs and develop proposals, scope, costs, schedule and budgets

·         Preparing, directing and reviewing technical reports, proposals and cost estimates

·         Responsible for quality control review of proposals and reports written by others 

You will be working with a senior team of recognized experts in toxicology, risk assessment, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science and analytical chemistry. You will be responsible for both technical service and managing client accounts. 

Successful candidates for this position must have a B.S. or preferably a M.S./M.P.H. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills and is able to work on multiple projects while balancing changing priorities and deadlines. Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or biotechnology industries is a definite advantage.
