Sales Development Representative, EdTech Company

A growing EdTech platform, revolutionizing the literacy gap, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to add to their team. Having already been featured in Business Insider as a top tech company to watch this year, they’re now looking to continue their growth across the US. The SDR will play a pivotal part in the sales organization, helping drive initial conversations and relationships with senior-level administrators at school and district levels.

Responsibilities:
• Engage with new inbound leads and conduct initial qualifying calls with prospective clients.
• Assess needs and build relationships with decision makers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales leads, accurately forecast goals and objectives for the month, quarter and year.
• Strategize with Sales Executives and Sales Managers to improve performance, processes and procedures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 6 months sales experience (preferably SaaS or platform)
• Self-starting, passionate attitude about the company’s mission
• Ability to engage in productive conversations with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of sales platforms including Salesforce

Compensation: $60K (flexible) base + % = $85K+ (uncapped!) OTE plus full benefits. Successful SDR’s can exceed $100K total for the year!
