Business Development Manager, Industry Insights Platform

A prominent industry insights SaaS company, known for offering extensive market insights and industry intelligence for companies around the world, is seeking to add a Business Development Manager to their rapidly growing NYC team. The company is known as much for their transparency and effective top-down communication as for their corporate culture—a great training program, team and individual competitions, and beer on Fridays!

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for cultivating new business through developing close relationships and taking a very consultative approach with each client.

The position is ideal for:

• Individuals who thrive in a pure hunter role, seeking a sale that is consultative (consulting with up to high level decision-makers)
• Sellers seeking to get into SaaS. There’s a premium in the job market for those who have sold subscription based services and SaaS
• Individuals with some experience in sales, looking to further their career through excellent training and corporate structure at a best-in-class market research organization

Ideal industry background includes:
4-year college degree and 2+ years B2B sales experience

Compensation is a base salary of $50k plus uncapped commission, with an OTE of $75k end of first year (including a generous benefits package). Terrific career advancement potential
