Social Media and Business Development Intern
Established company for over 91 years, looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media websites.
Company is currently evolving its business development and marketing strategies to include social media business development as well as the creation of strategic partnerships. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team who are very excited to share this exciting growth period with an intern hoping to gain a ton of great social media and business development experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and delivery of online e-mail campaigns and offline outreach
- Research and identifying potential partnerships
- Reaching out to current partners and developing new opportunities
- Enter contact information into contact management systems
- Provide support to social media efforts
- Assist with creation, fulfillment and distribution of marketing materials
Requirements
Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of social media. Only interns proficient with LinkedIn, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications should apply.
