Technical Literature Intern


Internship

January - June 2017

40 hour work week

 

The Group Service and Technology Group is looking for an intern for the Service and Owner’s Information Team. This position will be responsible with creating processes that will support dealership technicians and customers. Some examples of task will be:
 
  • Support Dealer Communication Process improvement.
  • Improve maintenance tables, fluid capacity tables, and pre-delivery inspections used for vehicle service by dealerships.
  • Other vehicle literature related opportunities.
 
We are looking for a candidate to bring fresh ideas to these tasks and help to create new and innovate processes. For this role we need someone with a strong automotive background with a passion for Volkswagen Group products. It’s also very important that this person possess strong organizational and computer skills.
 
The work environment here is very automotive focused and leads to innovative thinking. Our team is always looking for ways to advance customer and service literature using technology. Working at VWGoA as intern can lead to many job opportunities with the Group Service and Technology Group or many other teams within the organization.

Qualifications

 
  • Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months
  • Required:
    • Student working on a technical Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Strong automotive technical background
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) with the ability to troubleshoot if necessary.
